Russell Secrest (1935-2010), known for both his sculptures and modernist jewelry designs. Born in Muncie, Indiana, Secrest earned an Associates in Applied Science degree from the School for American Craftsmen at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.
With his wife, Frances, he operated the Artisans Gallery in Petoskey, Michigan, which featured his artwork, as well as that of other American designers.
